West Ham United supporters have reminisced about Slaven Bilic’s days in charge of the club after an official tweet from the Irons.

The Hammers appointed Bilic in 2015, hiring the former Hammers defender following the sacking of Sam Allardyce.

He guided the club to a seventh-placed finish in 2015/16, their final season at Upton Park, as they finished just four points behind fourth-placed Manchester City.

The following season, the Irons finished 11th in the Premier League and Bilic was sacked on November 6 in the 2017/18 campaign, with the Hammers languishing in the bottom three.

Nevertheless, the Irons’ supporters have fond memories of their exploits under the former Croatia boss.

Indeed, Bilic instituted a swashbuckling style at the club, spearheaded by the brilliance of Dimitri Payet prior to his departure to Marseille in Ligue 1.

And, with the club commemorating the day they appointed Bilic, supporters have shared their memories of his reign.
