West Ham table offer for Serie A-winning international ace

West Ham have put forward an offer of €15m (£11.4m) for Juventus star Roberto Pereyra, according to reports from Tuttosport.

The Hammers enjoyed a fine 2015/16 season, in which they sealed Europa League qualification for the second successive campaign.

With a big move to the Olympic Stadium now underway and the vast levels of TV revenue in the English game, the Irons are expected to be active in the transfer market, and reports claim that they have already tabled an offer of £11.4m for Perreyra.

The Argentine, who has been capped 10 times at senior international level, has been a part of Juve’s last two Serie A successes, albeit he only started nine times for the Old Lady in the league last term.

It’s understood that the Turin giants are ready to sell the 25-year-old, and West Ham’s offer more or less meets the sum they paid for the playmaker in 2015, when they made his loan move from Udinese a permanent deal.

Pereyra can play anywhere across the attacking midfield line, and is likely to support or act as cover for talismanic Hammers star, Dimitri Payet.
