West Ham are keen to follow their club-record £20.5m move for Andre Ayew with a £20m swoop for Carlos Bacca and are ready to double his £60,000-per-week wages at AC Milan to £120,000-per-week to snap him up, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The Hammers have been extremely active in the summer transfer market, with their recent double move for Ayew and Arthur Masuaku having taken their signing tally to NINE this window.
And it seems that the Irons are not yet done, with the east Londoners hoping a long talked about swoop for Bacca will make that figure TEN.
The Irons have been chasing the 29-year-old for much of the past few months, but despite recent claims the ex-Sevilla man has no interest in signing for the claret and blue-clad side, reports suggest that a £20m move with a contract worth £120,000-per-week is on their agenda.
Such a salary would put Bacca on the same weekly wage as talismanic attacking midfielder Dimitri Payet.
West Ham have also been offered ex-Arsenal and Manchester United forward Robin van Persie, but are not interested in the veteran goalscorer.
