Joao Mario signed for West Ham United from Inter Milan on a loan deal in the January transfer window.

The East London outfit have an option to buy the midfielder at the end of the season, but there are no indications yet as to where he will be playing football in the 2018-19 campaign.

So far, Mario has started five Premier League games and has come off the bench in an FA Cup match.

Manager David Moyes has kept the midfielder on the pitch for a full 90 minutes just twice, and the Portugal international has created one assist.

It is safe to say that fans have not been overjoyed by Mario’s impact, but the midfielder has made it clear that he does not want to return to Inter Milan.

The Daily Star quotes the midfielder as saying that his time at Inter is “in the past”, but whether his future will be at West Ham remains to be seen.

Meanwhile, FC Inter News have reported that the Hammers have had a £12m bid for Mario rejected by the Serie A outfit.

The supporters have been having their say on the matter.
