The tide has seemingly turned at West Ham United as the club are now unbeaten in three games in all competitions.

The Hammers had lost their opening four Premier League matches, but a win over Everton and draw with Chelsea has boosted morale at the club.

On Tuesday night, Manuel Pellegrini's side took on League Two club Macclesfield Town in the third round of the EFL Cup.

It was a hugely positive night for the East London outfit as they romped to an 8-0 win at the London Stadium - their biggest victory in 35 years.

Unsurprisingly, Pellegrini made a handful of changes from the side that earned a point against Chelsea, but it has got some fans wondering whether any of those included against Macclesfield should feature in Saturday's showdown against Manchester United.

Lucas Perez, Robert Snodgrass and Michail Antonio were among those to feature in the cup clash, and all three of them found the back of the net.

One fan asked club insider @ExWHUemployee on Twitter whether any of the players did enough to warrant a place against United, but he suggested that the only change should be Marko Arnautovic coming in for Antonio.

Plenty of fans were quick to agree.
