West Ham United have certainly turned the corner following their disastrous start to the season.

Manuel Pellegrini's side lost their first four Premier League matches before earning a 3-1 triumph over Everton.

The club followed that up by restricting Chelsea to a goalless draw and after hitting eight past Macclesfield Town in the EFL Cup in midweek, the Hammers overcame Manchester United 3-1 at the London Stadium on Saturday.

Felipe Anderson was one of many shining stars in Pellegrini's team during the early kickoff, and the summer signing - valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt - opened the scoring with a sublime touch.

West Ham doubled their lead after Andriy Yarmolenko's shot was deflected into the back of the net by Victor Lindelof.

Marcus Rashford pulled a goal back for the visitors, but Marko Arnautovic calmed any nerves in the stadium by scoring the winner.

Anderson has played in all seven league matches for the Hammers and has been guilty at times of failing to track back.

However, plenty of West Ham fans were happy with the Brazilian's overall performances.
