West Ham United fans lay into club’s head of fitness over injury woes

West Ham United have been in a decent run of form under manager David Moyes.

The club are unbeaten in their last seven games in all competitions, and have won two of their last three.

That positive run has been hampered by news of a handful of injury problems to the first team.

Andy Carroll, who has been on the treatment table for the majority of the season so far, is expected to be out for around three months with a fractured foot.

On top of that, the Hammers could be missing their creative spark Manuel Lanzini for up to a month with a hamstring injury, while Marko Arnautovic is also facing a spell out of action with a similar problem.

The club’s official Twitter page set themselves up for failure on Tuesday when they posted an interview with the club’s new head of fitness Nick Davies, who left the East London outfit eight-and-a-half years ago.

The timing of the interview was heavily criticised by the club’s following.
