David Moyes's return to Goodison Park on Wednesday night did not go to plan as his West Ham United team were beaten 4-0.

The Toffees headed into the game on the back of a 5-1 defeat and 4-1 loss in their previous two matches in all competitions, but they still managed to grab all three points from the Hammers.

Since taking over from Slaven Bilic, Moyes has overseen two defeats and a draw, which has left the East London outfit two points from safety after 14 games.

Fans were left frustrated by the result at Goodison as they had to witness Wayne Rooney score a hat-trick and Ashley Williams round off the game with 12 minutes of normal time on the clock.

During his post-match media duties, Moyes assessed the team's performance, of which he believed improved in the second half.

The fans, though, are struggling to see the positives as they find themselves in what could turn out to be a relegation battle.
