All football supporters want passion and dedication from their players, but some West Ham United fans think that Angelo Ogbonna has gone a tad too far.

Following a four-game winless run under new manager David Moyes, performances have started improving.

Playing Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal within 10 days was always going to be a daunting task for the Hammers, but they managed to pick up four points from a possible nine.

Against City, the team lost 2-1, but they put up a good fight and it was not until the 83rd minute when David Silva scored to give the Premier League leaders victory.

The shock of the bunch was against Chelsea when Marko Arnautovic's sixth-minute goal was enough to upset the reigning champions.

In midweek, the Hammers welcomed London rivals Arsenal to their home and even though they did not get on the scoresheet themselves, Moyes's men restricted the Gunners to a goalless draw.

After the game, Ogbonna spoke to the club's official website and insisted that the team will continue working hard at this level 'until they are dead'.

It is safe to say that some fans thought the defender was being a little too extreme.
