Whenever a team are playing poorly, it is easy for fans to rue the transfer decisions made by their club.
West Ham United had a very busy summer window as they recruited nine new players.
They also let a few go, including 22-year-old midfielder Edimilson Fernandes, who joined Fiorentina on a season-long loan.
According to the London Evening Standard, the deal includes an option to buy if he impresses in Italy.
At the moment he seems to be doing so, and he recently played the full game of a 1-0 win over Udinese.
For West Ham, there is little joy to spread around the London Stadium at the moment as the club have lost every one of their Premier League matches.

The club have been beaten by Liverpool, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
In that spell, the Hammers have scored two goals and conceded 10, which is a worrying statistic this early in the season.
On Twitter, fans were reminded of Fernandes’s positive start to life at Fiorentina, and it caused some to question the club’s decision to let the midfielder leave.
Edimilson Fernandes wins his 2nd game out of 2 in a Fiorentina shirt as he plays the entire 90 mins at DM as they win 1-0 over Udinese.

22 years old, well over 6ft, pacy, physical & worked hard!
Honestly don’t know why we didn’t keep him…
I’m not saying he’s a world beater, but he’d be a good option and he was improving whenever he played!— Steven McCarthy (@StevenMcCarthy9) September 2, 2018
Can we recall him

A midfielder who is able to run?? That’ll never catch on.
