West Ham United may have some more transfer business to carry out before they can focus on the season ahead.

The fans cannot complain about the activity so far as new manager Manuel Pellegrini has brought in seven new faces.

Jack Wilshere, Lukasz Fabianski and Felipe Anderson are within the group that have arrived at the London Stadium.

Now, attention has turned to possible outgoings, with Pedro Obiang and Cheikhou Kouyate being linked with moves away.

If one or both depart, then the fans have made it clear that they want replacements brought in.

Interestingly, plenty of supporters are backing a swoop for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the Blues' first team.

In fact, he spent last season on loan at Crystal Palace, where he impressed enough to earn a spot in England's World Cup squad.

The 22-year-old, who is valued at £16.2m by Transfermarkt and earns £60,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge according to The Evening Standard, can play in a variety of positions in midfield.

Predominantly, Loftus-Cheek is positioned centrally, but having an all-round skillset means that he can drop back or push forward in the middle third.

On Twitter, some West Ham fans have suggested that the young star could replace either Obiang or Kouyate.
