West Ham wonderkid set for Cardiff loan move

West Ham’s Ravel Morrison is on the verge of joining Championship side Cardiff City on loan, according to Mail Online.

The two clubs are reportedly discussing a season-long loan deal with an option for the Hammers to recall the 21-year-old in January.

Morrison took West Ham’s first team by storm at the beginning of last season, putting in a number of exciting, match winning performances, before suddenly losing his place and eventually going out on loan to QPR for the rest of the campaign.

But after making just two first-team appearances for the Hammers this season, it has become clear Sam Allardyce still doesn’t have him in his plans for the foreseeable future.

Morrison goes on trial in January over claims he assaulted his ex-girlfriend and threatened to throw acid in her face, as well as blowing up her house.

It is believed a deal could be completed as soon as this evening.
