You go from thinking you can do it all on your own to having to play as a team due to the fact that your opposition is now much stronger, and your coaches are experienced and disciplined, not just someone’s Dad who chips in on the weekends.

That switch from being a brilliant individual to being a great team player can be tough for some youngsters, but it seems that West Ham’s academy are being taught the right lessons if Carlton Cole’s latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

Cole’s message is loud and clear, the player he’s been working with have been learning to play together as a team rather than as individuals, and we’ll let him off for the massively over-used cliche, since he is moulding the next generation of Irons talent after all.
