West Ham’s Angelo Ogbonna posts optimistic view of Aston Villa draw

If you discount the 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City on the opening day of the season, West Ham have had quite a good start to this new campaign.

There seems to be a sense of optimism around the London Stadium at the moment, with the Hammers sitting eighth in the table.

That optimism is perfectly summed up by Angelo Ogbonna’s Instagram post after their 0-0 draw with Aston Villa on Monday evening.

Usually a 0-0 draw against a team flirting with the relegation zone isn’t something to be happy about, but Ogbonna managed to find some positives in the result.

The Italian was pleased that his side managed to get another point on the board while keeping another clean sheet.

It wasn’t an easy task for United to keep a clean sheet either. Arthur Masuaku was sent off in the second-half, yet Manuel Pellegrini’s side were able to hold on to get a point.
