There’s nothing more degrading than having the ball put between your legs.
It’s happened to us all at one point in our lives. Character building some might call it; the phrase ‘complete and utter embarrassment’ seems more appropriate, though. Indeed, if you can bounce back from shouts of “Taxi for [insert name here],” you can overcome anything (so they say).
While you’d have thought such an ordeal be exclusive to the testing grounds of the school playground, or even the local park, depending on your Sunday morning ritual, West Ham’s Declan Rice has proven that the torment of the “nutmeg” will never sleep.
During what looked to be one of the club’s pre-season media days, the England star took a break from filming, and with one simple mischievous and slightly warped objective in mind, he reminded the cameraman how cruel life can be, rolling the ball through his legs not once but twice.

We wonder if his family will ever look at him in the same way again, though it seems unlikely.
Rice you rascal.
