Ivory Coast international Wilfried Bony has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs after stating he expects a transfer to a bigger league.
Bony, who plays for Dutch side Vitesse is currently having the best season of his career having scored 26 goals in 24 games. Dubbed as the ‘New Drogba’ Bony, has told Voetbal International: ‘I love the Premier League and I would like to play if the opportunity is there. I am an ambitious player.’

The 24 year old moved from Sparta Prague for a fee of £4million but due to form has since seen that valuation rise to around £14million. His explosive pace and towering strength have led him to direct comparisons with his national counter part. After seeing how Drogba took the Premier League by storm it is no surprise that Bony should want to replicate that.
Liverpool, Fulham and Chelsea have all reportedly scouted Bony but it is West Ham who currently lead the chase with a reported £12million club record deal close to being agreed.
