World’s biggest sides looking at £35m West Ham sensation ahead of summer

Real Madrid and Barcelona are both keen on West Ham’s in-form star Dimitri Payet ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports from the Brentwood Gazette.

The 29-year-old has been a sensation in his first season with the Hammers, directly contributing to a staggering 17 Premier League goals (nine scored, eight assisted), which has been enough to earn him a recall to the French national side ahead of EURO 2016.

And it seems his form has attracted two of the very biggest club sides on the planet, with reports claiming that La Liga juggernauts Real and Barcelona are both looking at the 29-year-old.

It’s understood that the duo are considering him ahead of the looming summer transfer window and are even willing to pay as much as £35m for one of European football’s form players.

Payet only signed a new contract with the east London club earlier this year, but the lure of two of the most decorated teams in football may sway him, while a vast fee for a player of his age might even tempt West Ham.
