Why this Man United legend is the ‘ginger pirlo’

Carlos Tevez heaped praise on former teammate Paul Scholes in his pre-match press conference before Juventus’ crunch Champions League tie with Borussia Dortmund, saying that the England international was a better passer of the ball than Andrea Pirlo.

The comments reported by ESPN FC, state that while Tevez is honoured to be playing in the same side as Pirlo, the Argentine always felt Scholes was the superior user of the ball.

This is high praise indeed for the former Manchester United player turned TV pundit and adds further fuel to the argument that Scholes was the best passer of the ball that England has ever produced.

Tevez was also asked in the press conference as to whether he had ever felt at home during his time in England, with the Argentinian revealing that this wasn’t the case at Manchester United – due to the amount of stars at club–  but that he’d felt more at home when at Manchester City.
