Wigan will look to halt a run of three consecutive Premier League defeats when they welcome high flying Everton to the DW Stadium on Saturday.

The Toffees are currently second in the table, just three points behind early pace setters Chelsea.

David Moyes saw his side put in an impressive showing last time out, defeating Southampton 3-1 at Goodison Park, with Nikica Jelavic scoring twice.

Wigan are struggling as expected, and are yet to win at home this season.

Roberto Martinez has seen his side lose their last three in the league, scoring just once and conceding seven in the process.

Wigan will have midfielder Jordi Gomez available for selection after he won his appeal for the sending off he received from Howard Webb at Sunderland last week.

Defender Antolin Alcaraz, though, is out with a groin injury, whilst midfielder Fraser Fyvie is doubtful with an ankle injury.

Everton have no new injury or suspension concerns, and will only be without midfielder Darron Gibson who remains sidelined with a groin strain.

Tony Hibbert and Steven Naismith have both recovered from injury and are available for selection.

Prediction: Wigan 1-2 Everton
