According to Duncan Castles on the Transfer Window Podcast, Wolves may accept a big-money offer for Raul Jimenez if one arrives at their feet.

Castles stated that Manchester United have made an enquiry for the Mexico international, and Wolves are at the stage where they'd be prepared to accept a significant bid for their talisman.

The former Benfica striker has shone under Nuno Espirito Santo this term, netting 22 goals while also notching ten assists across all competitions.

With those stats under his belt, his exit would obviously come as a huge blow to Wolves.

However, there could be a silver lining in the shape of what it could mean for Leonardo Campana.

The Ecuador U23 international - who is rated at £1.8m on Transfermarkt - arrived at Molineux in January, but is yet to make an appearance for his new club.

Campana has appeared on the bench in Wolves' Europa League clashes against Espanyol, but other than that, hasn't been named amongst Nuno's subs in any Premier League game.

If Jimenez does depart the Midlands, Nuno will need a new striker with Fiorentina obligated to purchase Patrick Cutrone in the summer.

So, in that respect, Campana should be licking his lips if the Mexican leaves Molineux given Nuno's lack of options at centre-forward.

He may be young at just 19 years of age, but the Wolves boss has shown he is committed to trusting blossoming talent through his use of Pedro Neto, who is also 19 but has made 35 appearances in all competitions.

It would take a monumental effort for Campana to replicate Jimenez's accomplishments given the nine-year age difference between the pair, although he will shoot up the pecking order without needing to do anything if Wolves cash in on the Manchester United target.

For true Wolves fans only: How much did each of these players cost?

Who knows - the precocious Ecuadorian may even become better than Jimenez with time.
