Would he be a good signing?

With strong technical ability, dogged determination and defensive attributes, Joe Allen would theoretically fit perfectly into Wolves already talented midfield and could complement the likes of Ruben Neves very well indeed.

Now 28 years of age, the Welsh international has seven years of Premier League experience under his belt, including a spell at elite club Liverpool.

He has the ability and profile of someone who can undoubtedly help Wolves beat the drop next term and would help an already cohesive unit find their feet in the top-flight.

At the reported £20m, he’d cost a lot of money, but they’ll have the resources now they’re set to reap the rewards of the Premier League. It’s a potential signing that should excite supporters.
