Wolves fans couldn't contain their excitement on Twitter as it was announced that manager Nuno Espirito Santo had signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at the club until 2021.

Santo joined Wolves in the summer of last season and made an instant impact by bringing in big name players such as Portuguese midfielder Ruben Neves for a Championship record fee of £15.8m from Porto.

His Wolves side then stormed the division, racking up 99 points and being confirmed as champions with two matches still to spare.

His backroom staff members Rui Pedro Silva, Rui Barbosa, Antonio Dias, Joao Lapa and Julio Figueroa have also all extended their deals at Molineux., in what is arguably the best news of the summer so far given his success with the club to date.
