According to The Daily Mail, Wolves are rivalling Arsenal for the signing Juventus centre-back Daniele Rugani with the west Midlands club prepared to offer £30m in order to beat them to his signature. The news has left many fans at Molineux discussing the possible coup.

Over the last few weeks, Rugani has been linked to a loan move to North London though it was reported that they had a two-year offer with an option to buy rejected.

It seems as if Rugani has slipped down the pecking order at the Italian giants after new boss Maurizio Sarri signed Matthijs de Ligt for €75m (£69m) from Ajax earlier this summer.

The Daily Mail also state that the player's preference would be a move to Unai Emery's Gunners even with both sides competing in the Europa League this season.

The 25-year-old featured just 15 times in the Serie A last season, scoring twice.

A number of fans at Wolves took to social media to share their thoughts on the potential arrival.

One supporter said 'what a signing this would be' which was reinforced by another's view that he looks a great player so he hopes the club get him.

Others were quite cynical suggesting that the club were being used as bait with one fan believing it is the agent's doing in order to force Arsenal into a decision.

Some labelled the potential move as a decent but it wouldn't be as exciting as signing Ruben Dias, whilst one called it 'awesome.'

Here's the best of the reaction:
