Wolverhampton Wanderers made it ten straight games without defeat, rising to fifth in the Premier League table following a 2-0 victory over West Ham at Molineux last night.

Nuno Santo only made one change to the side that drew with Sheffield United on Sunday with Romain Saiss returning from suspension to replace Max Kilman.

Though, it was another centre-back who opened the scoring though as Leander Dendoncker fired home from Joao Moutinho's corner in the 23rd minute.

The west Midlanders had to wait until the 86th minute to seal all three points.

For all of the positives, there was one negative. Diogo Jota struggled once again to make his mark, meaning it is now eight straight matches without a goal or an assist, per Transfermarkt.

Several of the Molineux faithful have taken to social media to critique his performance...

Although some acknowledged the 23-year-old's struggles but offered up a more positive outlook on things going forward...

However, for one fan, that was it as he claimed that both Pedro Neto and Patrick Cutrone were more deserving of a start than the Portuguese winger.

It has indeed been a dire run of form for Jota, so maybe dropping him gives him the hunger and fire he needs to elevate his game back to what it was - last season he scored ten and assisted seven in all competitions. Wolves need that player back as soon as possible.
