Wolves fans name Mario Lemina as player they expect to sign before the deadline

Wolves have already announced the permanent signings of both Raul Jimenez and Leander Dendoncker and have since added striker Patrick Cutrone from AC Milan, Jesus Vallejo on loan from Real Madrid as well as a trio of young Portuguese talent.

However, many fans may still be hungry for more activity before the transfer window comes to a close on Thursday evening and there’s one player that is being frequently named  on Twitter – Southampton’s dynamic central midfielder Mario Lemina.

The Daily Mail have reported that the west Midlands club have enquired about the availability of the African star with the Saints wanting to recoup at least the £18.1m they paid for him back in 2017.

The 25-year-old played only 21 Premier League matches on the south coast last term, scoring and assisting just one goal in that time.

A number of fans took to Twitter to share their desire to see the Gabon international move to Molineux this week.

When asked on who they expect to sign before deadline day, the overriding reply was Lemina with one fan describing him as a ‘baller’ on the ball whilst another said he expects the midfielder to be the last one in before the window shuts on Thursday.
