According to reports in The Express & Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen to re-sign Ruben Vinagre on loan following a successful temporary spell last term, and some Wolves fans have been quick to react.

The 19-year-old moved to Molineux last summer and went on to make 13 appearances in all competitions for them at left wing-back, and he produced some impressive displays – including the one against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

However, The Express & Star suggests that the west Midlands outfit would prefer another loan move over a permanent one for the Monaco teenager, who would likely provide back-up for Barry Douglas for their first season back in the Premier League.

A selection of Wolves supporters, who have been quick to react to a link with a 29-year-old World Cup ace who had Lionel Messi in his pocket, have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the story, and while one said "sign him permanently", another was excited after "he ripped Kyle Walker apart" back in October.
