Wolverhampton Wanderers have potentially received a huge boost ahead of their FA Cup quarter-final tie with Manchester United at Molineux on Saturday evening, after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed via manutd.com that the in-form Romelu Lukaku is a doubt because of a foot injury.
Wolves fans have been reacting to the news which is surely a huge boost to their chances of lifting the famous trophy, seeing as they shouldn’t fear any other team aside from Manchester City in the semi-finals, should Pep Guardiola’s men also advance.
Lukaku has scored six goals and his previous four appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils, and some Wanderers supporters have replied to local journalist Tim Spiers rehashing the news on Twitter and are clearly delighted that the 25-year-old could be absent.

Of course, given the strength and depth United have it could still be that both Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial start, and in that respect it is no surprise that other supporters of the west Midlands outfit prefer to focus on their own team instead.
A couple of those who responded to Spiers said that Nuno Santo’s game-plan will be the key to how the result goes, and that is certainly true given their impressive record against the big clubs in the Premier League this term – including the 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
Comfortable in the top flight, Wolves’ players must turn up on Saturday to try and bring some cup success to Molineux.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Forget them lot Tim. As Nuno would say it’s about us and what we do and we are going to beat them tomorrow without a shadow of a doubt. You will@never have heard molineux like it will be tomorrow. Night. ???
