Wolves boss Nuno Santo needed heroics from two of his fellow countrymen to earn a point against a Manchester United side who thrashed Chelsea 4-0 on the opening day of the Premier League season.
Ruben Neves thumped in a glorious strike from long-range to equalise before Rui Patricio stepped up between the sticks to save a second-half penalty from Paul Pogba.
His valiant display stirred quite the reaction amongst the Molineux fanbase as Wolves started their season with successive draws.
One supporter said that the 31-year-old was the best keeper they have had for a lifetime and claimed Patricio produces big moments, whilst another added that he made a world class save.
An additional fan added that the Portuguese international could be the most underrated keeper of this generation, with others using ‘legend’ and ‘amazing’ to describe his performance.
