Wolves reinvigorated their quest to break into the Premier League’s top six with a resounding victory on Sunday afternoon as they thrashed Norwich City 3-0 at Molineux.
Diogo Jota made it five goals in two matches as he partnered Raul Jimenez, their other goalscorer, in attack as manager Nuno Santo reverted back to a 3-5-2 system.
There was a return to the matchday squad for Ruben Vinagre and he completed his comeback from injury by featuring for the final ten minutes of the match after he replaced Jonny at left wing-back.
The 20-year-old posted his delight on social media and fans have been responding in their droves to offer up their support for him.
Unbelievable feeling of coming back to the pitch, it was 5 weeks of hard work to get back fast and strong as possible!
Thanks for all the support!

Welcome back Ruben…top wolf 🐺
— Nigel Greer (@NigelGreer7) February 25, 2020
Evidently, many were thrilled with his return as he was labelled a “top wolf” as well as a “bossman.”
While one supporter stated his love for the Portuguese and the way he ‘rampages’ past defenders and has a cracking cross on him.
This was emphasised by another who described his talents as “wing wizardry.”
Plenty of others have an even bigger array of words to wax lyrical about Vinagre.
you are a 🐺star

The wing-back’s potential was also noted by some, as they mainly claimed that he had a big future ahead of him – one fan went as far as calling it “fantastic” with another calling him a “star.”
And then a couple of eagle-eyed members of the Molineux faithful spotted Vinagre’s new beard, which left them in debate over whether or not he should keep is as well as poking fun at him slightly…
keep the beard for the rest of your life https://t.co/FlYrLvVrmq

After a few pints I thought Neves was running down the wing https://t.co/7fBrRiDIaK

Vinagre was likened to being Rui Patricio’s son whilst one fan joked that he thought it was Ruben Neves bombing down the wing at one stage.
The rising starlet, who is valued at £9m by Transfermarkt, is in line to start later this week when Wolves head to Barcelona for the second leg of their Europa League tie against Espanyol as first-choice left wing-back Jonny was seen in a protective boot post-game on Sunday.
And in other news, Wolves may have just passed up the next BIG thing…
