Wolves return to Premier League action later this evening and they should be buoyed by the fact that one of their key stars should be fit enough to feature.

What's he said?

The west Midlanders host local rivals Leicester City at Molineux as they look to get one over on the side that currently sit healthily in third place.

Nuno Santo's side meanwhile could move inside the top five, at least temporarily, with a win.

Last time out, Wolves drew a blank against Manchester United in a game that saw Adama Traore dislocate his shoulder for the second time this campaign.

Paul Darby, who is a former physio at the club from yesteryear, has given insight into the injury and how the club might choose to manage it. Speaking to the Express & Star, he said:

“Wolves will no doubt be looking at this and saying they’ll need to do something at some point.

“Initially, he’ll probably go through some early rehab to try to strengthen around the area, to see if that can give him some stability.

“If it’s come out twice in a month or two, there will be some concern. If it reoccurs frequently, it’ll have to be dealt with.

“Every time it subluxates, it creates more of an issue around the joint. If you had a shoulder joint that kept subluxating, surgery would be required.

“It won’t stop him being fit for Leicester, I would not have thought, and if he does not experience any more problems this season, it’s probably something they will look at in the close season.”

Major encouragement

It appears likely that the Spaniard will be available to face the Foxes this evening which is a huge boost to Nuno and the team.

Earlier this week, opposition boss Brendan Rodgers pointed out the threat that Traore offers, going as far as calling him "dangerous" so he's clearly quite wary of the 24-year-old.

The tricky speedster has been an integral part in Wolves' pursuit of the top six as well as in their progression to the Europa League knockout stages as he has scored five goals and provided ten assists from 36 appearances, per Transfermarkt.

Traore's ongoing trouble with his shoulder is something that can be resolved during the summer, but only if he doesn't experience any more issues.
