Rangers made it 17 home league wins in a row at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon as Steven Gerrard's side squeezed past Hibernian in a 2-1 win.

The three points mean that the Gers are now just four games away from an unbeaten league season, although they still have to face their Old Firm rivals at Ibrox in early May.

Joe Aribo and Ryan Kent got the goals for the Light Blues, with the latter particularly impressive at times on Sunday, with his superb strike for Rangers' second certainly the highlight of the match.

However, he was arguably outperformed by Nathan Patterson, who once again produced a superb display at right-back.

As per SofaScore, the teenage defender would earn an impressive 7.1/10 rating for his display, with only Joe Aribo and Allan McGregor earning higher of the Rangers players who featured.

During the 90 minutes, the 19-year-old would contribute two clearances and three tackles, which is significantly better than the 0.8 tackles per game he has averaged in the Premiership so far this season.

The right-back also won all five of his ground duels during the game, earning him a 100% success rate, which was unsurprisingly the best of any player on the pitch.

He would also complete 44/53 of his passes, resulting in an impressive 83% success rate, which is again slightly higher than the 82% he has averaged in the league so far this season.

Patterson also caused problems going forward, as he was able to complete both of his dribbles during the game and came close to scoring when he sent an effort over the bar in the second half.

Considering the youngster was almost "banished" by Gerrard after he broke the current restrictions earlier in the season, it is impressive how the academy graduate has stepped up superbly in the absence of captain James Tavernier, who may struggle to reclaim his place when he returns from injury as a result of Patterson's excellent recent form.
