Rangers take on Malmo at Ibrox on Tuesday night and Steven Gerrard's will need to turn around a 2-1 deficit from the first leg if they are to progress in the Champions League.

The Gers suffered defeat in Sweden last week, with Steven Davis' late effort giving them hope ahead of the return leg, which will be played in front of a capacity crowd at Ibrox for the first time since early 2020.

Rangers will need to show a lot more than they did at the weekend - when they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat against Dundee United at Tannadice to end their unbeaten league run - if they are to progress against Jon Dahl Tomasson's side on Tuesday evening.

Here's how Football FanCast expects Gerrard to line his side up at Ibrox, with three changes from the team that started last weekend...

After sitting out the game against Dundee United, Allan McGregor comes back in for Jon McLaughlin in goal.

There is one change in defence, as after Gerrard confirmed that he is back fit, Leon Balogun replaces Filip Helander at centre-back, in the hope that he and Connor Goldson can pick up where they left off in the first competitive game of the new season - a 3-0 win against Livingston.

Glen Kamara is still suspended in Europe, so Joe Aribo drops into midfield to replace him, in the hope that he can add some much-needed creativity in the middle of the park.

This allows Scott Wright, who was described as the "bright spark" after his goal from the bench against Livingston, to come back in on the right-hand side, with Ryan Kent unsurprisingly keeping his place on the left.

They support Alfredo Morelos in attack, although Fashion Sakala is likely to feature from the bench after he too was confirmed to be in contention by Gerrard earlier this week.

And, in other news... Gerrard could be set for huge Rangers boost with "class act", fans will be buzzing
