Glasgow Rangers kicked off their 2022/23 campaign by coming back from behind to win their opening Premiership match on Saturday.

Gio van Bronckhorst's team found themselves 1-0 down early on in the game but rallied in the second half and came away from Livingston with the three points thanks to goals from Scott Arfield and James Tavernier.

They now face Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium in their first Champions League qualifying match as they attempt to make their way to the group stages of the competition.

How many changes will van Bronckhorst make to the team? Here is our predicted XI...

Allan McGregor; James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, James Sands, Borna Barisic; John Lundstram, Glen Kamara; Malik Tillman, Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo; Antonio Colak.

Firstly, veteran shot-stopper McGregor could start between the sticks as the head coach spreads game time between him and Jon McLaughlin in the early parts of the campaign.

At centre-back, we are predicting that James Sands will come in for John Souttar. The Scotland international has not made the trip to Belgium, leaving the USA international in with a chance of starting after he came on in that position against Livingston.

Despite the arrival of Ridvan Yilmaz from Besiktas, Barisic may keep his place in the team at left-back as the Turkey international settles into life in Glasgow and gets to know his new teammates.

On the right of the attacking trio behind Colak, Tillman could make his full debut for the club after catching the eye off the bench at the weekend. He won six of his nine duels and got two shots off in just 45 minutes on the pitch, which suggests that he could offer a physical and goalscoring threat out wide.

Finally, Ryan Kent will drop out of the XI after remaining in Glasgow this week due to an injury issue. Journalist Andrew Dickson once dubbed the star as "unplayable" and the Gers will now have to get through this clash without the winger.

Van Bronckhorst could replace the wizard by handing a debut to Matondo out on the left wing. He missed the win over Livingston through injury and is now back and available for selection.

Ex-Wales boss Ryan Giggs once dubbed him "electrifying" and he showcased his attacking quality on loan at Cercle Brugge in Belgium last term. The gem scored nine goals in 23 starts in the Pro League - scoring against Saint-Gilloise in December 2021. With that in mind, he simply has to start on Tuesday evening.
