Rangers can take one step closer to glory by beating St Mirren on Saturday at Ibrox, with Steven Gerrard's side on the brink of securing their first title in 10 years.

Should Rangers beat Jim Goodwin's side and their Old Firm rivals drop points away at Dundee United, then the Gers will be crowned champions, which opens up the mouth-watering prospect of receiving a guard of honour for their trip to Celtic Park in two weeks' time.

Gerrard's side were far from their best on Wednesday but were able to find a way past Livingston thanks to a late goal from Alfredo Morelos; and with a Europa League tie against Slavia Prague to come next week, as well as the Old Firm derby, the former Liverpool midfielder may well be tempted to make changes for the game against St Mirren.

Here's how Football FanCast expects Rangers to line up on Saturday, with two changes from the side which started against Livingston in midweek...

With Leon Balogun and James Tavernier still sidelined, it seems likely that Nathan Patterson will continue at right-back, with Gerrard naming an unchanged defence as he looks to extend Rangers' unbeaten Ibrox run.

There's one change in midfield, as Bongani Zungu comes in for a rare start in place of Steven Davis, with the experienced midfielder left on the bench with Thursday's Europa League game in mind.

Joe Aribo also drops back into midfield in place of Scott Arfield, which allows Ianis Hagi to come back into the side in the hope that the Romanian can unlock St Mirren's defence and add to his six goals and 11 assists this season.

He completes the dangerous front three with Morelos and Ryan Kent, as Gerrard should do everything he can to get the job done early in this match before resting his key players if the game is comfortable.
