Rangers boss Gio van Bronckhorst tasted defeat for the first time in charge of the Ibrox club earlier this week and now has a chance to return to winning ways in the Premiership.

The Gers host Hearts at home and could find their winning touch again after losing 3-0 to Celtic in the Old Firm clash in midweek.

Reo Hatate (two) and Liel Abada scored the goals for the Hoops on the night and the Gers now need a reaction on their own turf this afternoon.

How many changes will van Bronckhorst make to the side? Here is our predicted XI...

We are predicting that he will make four alterations to the side, with Leon Balogun, Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Jack and Aaron Ramsey coming in.

There could be one change to the back four, with Balogun replacing Calvin Bassey in the defence. Van Bronckhorst could axe Borna Barisic and play the latter at left-back instead, but the Croatian's attacking quality means that he should keep his place.

He has averaged 1.9 key passes per game in the Premiership, managing three assists so far in the league. This shows that he has the ability to create chances from full-back and that could help to unlock the Hearts defence.

In midfield, we are predicting that Aaron Ramsey and Ryan Jack will come in for Joe Aribo and Scott Arfield. FFC published an article explaining why the former should come into the XI for his debut after joining on loan from Juventus on deadline day, with the £14k-per-week Nigerian magician being axed.

Jack came off the bench against Celtic and was impressive in his cameo. As per SofaScore, He completed 90% of his passes and created two chances, whilst making one tackle and hitting the crossbar with a rasping effort from distance. This display could tempt van Bronckhorst into handing him a start against Hearts.

Finally, Morelos could come in to lead the line after returning from his international duties with Colombia recently. Kemar Roofe let his manager down badly in the defeat to the Hoops and does not deserve to retain his starting spot in the side.

Morelos has eight goals and four assists in 18 Premiership starts this season and has the ability to win the match for the Gers with his goalscoring prowess. This is why he should come straight back into the starting XI after they missed his presence in midweek.
