According to Football Insider, the Light Blues have now reached an agreement with the young full-back and are now set to seal a new contract for him.

The report claims that his current deal is due to expire in the summer of 2023 and this move secures his immediate future at the club.

He is now set to put pen to paper on fresh terms that will see him remain in Glasgow until the summer of 2025, penning a two-year extension.

His current contract situation leaves him able to depart the Gers at the end of the current campaign on a free transfer, which is why this agreement is particularly important.
