Celtic fans celebrate historic triumph

Brendan Rodgers has been an instant success at Celtic, guiding the Scottish side into a comfortable position at the top of the SPL table and also impressing in the Champions League, although the Bhoys didn’t do enough to advance through their difficult group.

Fans have been given exactly what they would have wished for so far though and Rodgers was celebrating his first honours as Celtic boss yesterday, as his side eased a 3-0 victory over Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup final.

As well as kickstarting what’s set to be a fantastic season for the Bhoys, it was also a memorable moment in history as Celtic lifted their 100th major honour- a fantastic achievement for the Scottish giants, who’ve established themselves as centurions.

The Bhoys look unstoppable domestically this season and Brendan Rodgers could soon add further honours to his tenure at Parkhead, led by in-form striker Moussa Dembele- who took his tally for the season to 15 with a strike from the penalty spot yesterday.

The fans were naturally full of praise for Northern Irish boss Rodgers, who’s on his way to establishing himself as a great with Celtic.
