Celtic clinched a vital away goal on Thursday night as they drew 1-1 with FC Copenhagen in the first leg of their last-32 clash.

The game was a true tale of two halves, with the Hoops dominating the opening 45 minutes before they were pegged back in the second period.

The hosts put Neil Lennon's side under the cosh for almost the entirety of the second half, testing the resolve of Kristoffer Ajer and Christopher Jullien at the heart of the back-four.

Jullien was in inspired form and consistently denied the opposition with his reading of the game and aerial prowess, but his partner couldn't emulate that level.

Indeed, the Norway international didn't enjoy his finest game in a Celtic shirt, and the supporters were quick to criticise him on social media in the aftermath of proceedings.

One fan claimed he was bullied by Dame N'Doye, who led the line for Copenhagen on the night, while another labelled him as the most overrated player in Celtic's modern history...

One fan, meanwhile, suggested that Ajer needs to stop playing as if he's one of the greatest ball playing central defenders of all time, namely Franz Beckenbauer.

On more than one occasion the defender was culpable of trying to play out from the back when safer options were available, and it's easy to see why the supporter has made this request...

Finally, this supporter urged the club to get rid of the 21-year-old, such was the extent of his frustration with his display.
