Arsenal and Celtic are interested in signing Bolton Wanderers defender Rob Holding, according to the Sun.
The Hoops have watched the 20 year old on eight separate occasions, while the Gunners are said to have already made a bid for the player.
Everton and Bournemouth are also believed to be interested in the centre-half, but with a £5million price tag being suggested, it may put off the likes of Celtic who have a limited transfer budget.
Holding has had an impressive season despite the Trotters being relegated from the Championship.
As well as breaking through into the first team with 30 appearances this season, he was also named the club’s Player of the Season.
He can play at centre back, and is best suited in that role, but he can also play as a full back if required.
Holding joined Bolton at the age of seven and played briefly on loan at Bury at the end of last season before making his debut for Bolton at the start of the 2015/16 campaign.
