Celtic are looking into the possibility of signing winger Nathan Dyer from Swansea City, according to the Scotsman.
The 28-year-old spent last season out on loan at Premier League champions Leicester City after falling out of favour at the Liberty Stadium.
Dyer was not a regular under Claudio Ranieri last campaign, and out of the 15 appearances he made last season for the Foxes, he made just two starts in the FA Cup.
His substitute appearances did yield one goal and one assist, and also meant he was eligible for a Premier League medal.
Prior to this season, the right winger had a been a regular first team player for Swansea, and he was a firm favourite of Brendan Rodgers when the Northern Irishman took over at the Welsh club in 2010.
Dyer has made 271 appearances since arriving from Southampton permanently in 2009, scoring 31 goals. He has one year left on his contract and much will depend on whether he will feature in manager Francesco Guidolin’s plans for the new season.
