The last week has been one of the best ever in the lives of Celtic fans after they witnessed their side become the first Scottish club to win two successive trebles, winning the Scottish Cup Final against Motherwell.

The celebrations continued well into Saturday evening and Sunday, when a sold out Celtic Park crowd gathered to take in the testimonial of legendary captain Scott Brown.

The opponents for the match, the proceeds of which went to charitable causes, were a Republic of Ireland XI led by national team manager Martin O'Neill.

It was a surprisingly competitive match for such a feel good occasion and a chance for fans to see some fringe players in action against talented Irish professionals.

One of those was Michael Johnston, who started the match and shone throughout, showing glimpses of his flair and potential that could make him a hit in the first team next season.

Fans are certainly excited about his potential, believing he could even replace the popular Patrick Roberts in the squad after his return to Manchester City.

They took to Twitter to share their thoughts after the match...
