Celtic defender Jozo Simunovic has been heavily linked with a move away from Glasgow this week, with the Daily Record initially reporting that he is an £8m target for Crystal Palace and Burnley, followed by an Italian outlet claiming he is on Lazio’s January wishlist.
The 23-year-old defender was an integral part of Brendan Rodgers’ invincible Hoops side that marched to a famous treble last season but so far this term has been on the receiving end of criticism after a few poor performances and fitness issues.
He is still regarded as one of the club’s best defenders however and a favourite with some supporters for his tough tackling and ability to carry the ball out from the back.
At the reported £8m though, it seems fans are happy to part company with the player, believing it’s too good an offer to refuse, especially after inconsistent showings this season.
Should Celtic sell or should they keep him?
Supporters took to Twitter this week to share their thoughts…
If we get £8 million I'd drive him there myself..decent but not irreplaceable

I'd take 8m all day long. We're in need of another CB anyway, shopping time for Brendan.

For £8 million, I'd bite their arms off and beat yer maw with them! As long as it had a sell on clause that is.
