Celtic fans are hoping to see more of Chelsea loanee Charly Musonda in the closing stages of the season after another disappointing result in the Scottish Premiership.
The Hoops drew their eighth game of the season away to 10-man Motherwell on Sunday, failing to find the cutting edge in a 0-0 result against Stephen Robinson’s men.
For many it was a match that was calling out for the introduction of Musonda from the substitutes’ bench, with Rodgers preferring to bring on the likes of Stuart Armstrong and Scott Sinclair ahead of him.
The attacking midfielder hasn’t started for the club for over a month and has just two starts in league action since joining from Chelsea in January.
Fans have been impressed with his some of his performance so far and they’re now calling on Rodgers to play him more in the closing stages of the season, ahead of the out-of-form Sinclair.
They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the situation…
Last season Scott Sinclair was our standout player and he would take players on for fun, dribble with confidence, create openings and chances with his dribbling and he chipped in with 25 goals. This season, he has turned into an absolute stat padder.
Time to give Musonda a shot.

Why are we spending £3 million on a musonda loan but never play him ?

From what we've seen so far in Musonda this season vs what we've seen Sinclair this season, how can Sinclair possibly be first choice sub? Total bottle job man. Absolutely pish result.

Where's Musonda? Pointless bringing him here if he's gonna sit on the bench
Far too many of these heartless performances lately from Celtic
