Celtic failed to follow up their stellar European win on Thursday night with a similar performance in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday, playing out a dull 0-0 draw with league newcomers Livingston.

Far below their best after the efforts of the UEFA Europa League clash, the Hoops couldn't capitalise fully on Hearts dropping points the day prior.

The match again raised questions about the depth of the squad available to Brendan Rodgers, with a number of players looking like they could do with a rest so soon after an energy sapping European performance.

One of the players to come off the bench, for winger James Forrest, was Lewis Morgan. The summer signing has had to be patient for his first-team chances this season, but Celtics fans have been less than impressed when he has taken to the pitch.

Some have already come to the conclusion he isn't ready to feature for the first-team, with many preferring to send him out on loan while he develops further.
