Celtic fans couldn’t believe the temerity of their club after they posted a tweet urging supporters to “plan ahead” for a festive event.
The club urged their supporters to ‘plan ahead’ for Christmas, and many fans couldn’t believe the hypocrisy of the message.

The supporters were so angered by the tweet because the club itself has failed to prepare for what was always going to be a busy window. The club have lost a few key players this summer and the majority haven’t been replaced.
The irony of the tweet wasn’t lost on the fans, who used the ill-thought-out caption to lambast the club and their transfer policy.
Here are the best reactions to the tweet on Twitter:
You’ve some cheek to talk about planning ahead

Are you having a laugh, maybe you should be sending this to Lawell and the football department, if planned ahead we’d still be in the CL. You guys have no self awareness
