Celtic fans are relieved to be facing either CFR Cluj or Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the next round of the Champions League qualifiers, should they get there.
Neil Lennon’s men will have to navigate Estonian champions Nomme Kalju first in the second round, which will be played over the course of the next seven days, but the fans are already looking forward to the third-round draw.
The Hoops welcome the side to Parkhead on Wednesday, with the return leg next Tuesday, and they should realistically be able to see off Nomme Kalju, who are currently fourth in the Estonian Meistriliiga, some 12 points off the top of the division.
Should they get through they will meet either of Cluj or Maccabi Tel-Aviv. The draw has been fairly kind to those of a green and white persuasion, as they avoided Greek champions PAOK.
The Greek side, who went unbeaten last year, drew Champions League semi-finalists Ajax in a mouth-watering tie, while the Bhoys will face last year’s league winners from either Romania or Israel.
Here’s what the fans had to say about the potential tie on Twitter…
Could have been much worse. Need to get a right back in quickly though. Either of those teams will punish us if we’re not prepared.

Will take that, red star or paok would have been a nightmare

Better than PAOK. That’s for sure.

Could have been worse, home leg second too

Not the worst draw. But cannot take either too lightly

So Celtic know they’ll take on either Cluj or Maccabi Tel-Aviv if they get past @KaljuFC
Dodging PAOK has been a blessing. Must do the business against the Estonian Champions and go from there.

We’ve avoided a couple of good sides there, PAOK & Red Star Belgrade could have provided a stern test for Celtic.
There’s no easy draws in this competition but as far as a decent draw goes I’d say we’ve got one.

A decent draw for the Hoops as they avoid the likes of PAOK and Red Star Belgrade.
