Celtic supporters know a lot more about the Hoops’ summer plans after a document was leaked online naming a number of transfer targets and the positions at the club that need strengthening.
As reported by BBC Scotland, the Hoops have confirmed they have launched an investigation into the leak, with apparent minutes from a meeting of high ranking staff at the club appearing on social media.

The outlet say the document outlined the contract situation of a number of current Celtic players, also detailing players from other teams that the club might want to sign this summer.
It’s not a good look and is potentially damaging to the kind of business they’d want to do over the coming months.
Manager Neil Lennon had previously complained back in April about team sheets leaking early in advance of matches.
Fans are understandably concerned, with many taking to Twitter on Tuesday to share their thoughts…
So the BBC confirm that @CelticFC are investigating the apparent leak of a confidential document about player retention and summer recruitment. I had hoped that it was a fake and still do given some of the names on our list. HH pic.twitter.com/QqzSPPJpkS

Media confirm that Celtic are investigating the source of the transfer document leak. Tough one for the Lawwellists to spin.. the transfer 'policy' is there for all to see in writing – we have 0 ambition, and Oliver Burke is seriously being considered for a second loan spell.

If genuine, what an amateur document for a club of Celtic’s size. I’m embarrassed it was leaked and embarrassed with its content. Puts paid to the myth of Brendan’s fantastic football department if they were producing rubbish like that.

Don’t know what is more worrying the fact the document got leaked or the names on it….

Well, one of them appears off to Leicester, so we’ll see. Immaterial the players, the club should get a hold of why this keeps happening.

If that is a genuine document, then it’s extremely worrying. The leak is bad enough. That’s before you even get to the formatting, grammar and spelling – ‘Arribo’ / ‘Tomoroi’. If true, someone can’t even spell the name of our supposed targets.

Some are saying that the document wasn’t genuine. But if it wasn’t, then why are Celtic investigating the leak? It looked convincing to me and sadly plenty of the target names on it were very, very underwhelming. If it was real, hopefully some targets have changed since then.

Regardless of whether that Celtic leak is fake or not, the fact that all the stuff on it is perfectly feasible is such a depressing indictment of our board.
