Neil Lennon has shifted the blame for Celtic's Champions League exit away from his team selection, and the Hoops supporters are furious.

Tuesday night's 4-3 defeat at Parkhead to Romanian champions CFR Cluj meant that Celtic were dumped out of the Champions League qualifiers, and the fans were livid at such a defeat.

Just as people might've been calming down however, Lennon has put his foot in it and failed to take responsibility for the crushing defeat.

The Celts manager has done himself no favours by failing to lay some blame on Tuesday's team selection. One real bone of contention was playing star midfielder Callum McGregor at left-back, a move that didn't go down well with the fans and failed on the night.

Another issue the fans have with Lennon's line-up is the talent on the bench. New signings Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo and Christopher Jullien were stuck waiting in reserve as they watched their new side concede four goals in a crucial tie on home turf.

Here's how the fans reacted on Twitter to Lennon's abdication of responsibility...
