It was John Kennedy’s 36th birthday at the weekend, but the Celtic supporters pulled no punches as they ripped into their assistant manager.
The former Celt has been the latest to feel the full wrath of a discontented fanbase after a disappointing week at the club. The supporters are far from happy with their side having been dumped out of the Champions League qualifiers by CFR Cluj in agonising fashion.
Kennedy is just the latest to be criticised by the Parkhead support, with many of his co-workers feeling the fury too. Neil Lennon has come under heavy criticism for his peculiar team selection for the pivotal tie, with chief executive Peter Lawwell getting his fair share for his failures in the transfer market.
The greatest player ever to grace the Scottish Premiership is revealed in the video below…
And it appears that the assistant manager is just the latest to come under the scrutiny of the fans. Many have questioned what he does at Celtic Park, while some can’t understand why he’s still at the club at all.
The fans took to Twitter to wish Kennedy a happy birthday in their own special way:
Am sure the untouchable golden child will enjoy his party round at Lawwells, carrying stories of what’s happening in the dressing room for his monthly pieces of silver

Happy Birthday, but can anyone explain why he has a job, and.such a high profile one at that.
An average player who unfortunately got injured but that certainly is not a qualification to be on our coaching staff never mind assistant manager.

Been there years as a coach and our defence has been shocking. How long can we be dignified on holding onto an ex injured player?. We’ve giving him a financial retirement by now.
