Celtic fans don’t want to see Lewis Morgan leave on loan next season

As reported by The Scottish Sun, Sunderland boss Jack Ross has made an official move to sign Celtic winger Lewis Morgan on loan next season, despite the player having not yet kicked a ball for the Hoops.

Celtic signed the winger in January, but he continued on at St Mirren to help their promotion bid under Jack Ross. Now his former manager wants a reunion in English League 1.

The paper say that the Hoops have told Sunderland that it will be mid-July until they make a decision on Morgan’s future.

The Scotland international showed incredible form for the Buddies last term, scoring 18 goals and assisting 13 times in all competitions and winning the division’s player of the year award.

Celtic fans are now eager to see him get a chance in the first team and don’t want him to be sent out on loan, believing he has the ability to make an impact ahead of the likes of Scott Sinclair.
